Ward Barbecue/Great Ward Mission Leader

Hey! How are things going? It’s a bummer I don’t get to hear as much from you guys as other weeks, but I understand. I hope Grandpa’s funeral goes well. We’re having some good things happening here but also a few upsets. We took Don on a tour of the church and he loved it. He really felt something, and wanted to get baptized later this month, but we got a phone call from him a day after. He decided it just wasn’t the path he wanted to follow. We were pretty sad about it, but we have some good news. We had two less active couples come to church Sunday! They stayed all three hours. We were glad to see  their desire to return and participate. We also had a ward barbecue and some less actives came to that as well. Ward Council was a little upsetting. They aren’t catching on to the focus five program, but we’ll keep working on them. Our ward mission leader’s fearlessly leading the way. We had a neat lesson with an investigator who’s been pretty hard to get a hold of. His name’s Joel, the father of a great Hispanic family. We figured out where he’s at, so we’ll do all we can to help him find out the truth of our message. Anyway, keep praying for us. We’re trying! Love, Elder Call
